As we roll out our latest update to the RotoProspects Top 700 Prospect fantasy baseball rankings, let’s dive into the key updates surrounding the top-ranked prospects this week.

Cole Carrigg jumps up near the Top 40 after his promotion to the Rockies

Carrigg’s lightning-fast ascent reached its apex when he was selected to the 40-man roster and called up to the big leagues on June 9. The dynamic switch-hitter (pictured above) tore apart Triple-A to start the year (.338/.414/.529, 30 stolen bases in 57 games) and has adjusted quickly to Major League pitching, flashing his elite 60-grade speed and carrying a highly respectable .269 average with 3 home runs through his first few weeks in the majors.

Cardinals’ Joshua Baez mashing his way into the Top 10… and maybe a callup soon?

Báez is authoring one of the most explosive development stories in baseball. After turning heads with a 20-50 season across High-A and Double-A last year, he hasn’t missed a beat following a promotion to Triple-A Memphis. He wrapped up a memorable stretch by blasting his 25th home run of the year in late June and just took over the MiLB home run lead following his fourth multi-homer game of the season on July 2. With a massive 65-grade power tool, the 23-year-old is knocking on the door of St. Louis.

Rockies’ Charlie Condon jumps up near the Top 40 and might beat Baez to the majors

If you haven’t been checking the Triple-A Albuquerque box scores lately, you are missing a absolute demolition derby. The former Georgia standout completely owned the month of June, slashing .337/.462/.814 with 10 homers and 31 RBIs in 23 games. He carried that red-hot momentum straight into July, launching two more solo shots on July 1 to give him five home runs over a three-game stretch. Now sitting on 20 long balls and a 1.030 OPS over 72 games this year, Condon is an elite fantasy stash expected to see Coors Field right after the All-Star break.

Andrew Fischer of the Brewers leaps into the Top 30 with his own laser show

The 2025 first-rounder has done nothing but mash since entering professional ball. After pasting a .298/.443/.675 line with 20 home runs in 54 games at High-A Wisconsin, the Brewers wasted no time promoting the 22-year-old third baseman to Double-A Biloxi on June 15. Fischer celebrated the end of June by turning in a spectacular multi-homer performance for the Shuckers, bringing him to six home runs in his first two weeks of Double-A action. Across both levels, he finished June with 26 homers and 60 RBIs in just 65 games.

Juneiker Caceres, up inside the Top 75, is looking like a great find for the Guardians

The Guardians look like they’ve unearthed another international gem. Signed out of Venezuela for a modest $300,000 in January 2024, the 18-year-old left-handed outfielder is making Single-A look easy. He displayed his growing over-the-fence power by launching his 8th home run of the season on June 28 into right-center field. What makes Caceres such a fascinating dynasty target is the marriage of his elite natural barrel skills with a high-end data profile. Even as a 16-year-old, he was flashing a 90th-percentile exit velocity of 108 mph.
