A quick look at the Top Three

1. Henry Lalane (SP, New York Yankees)

The Verdict: The absolute gold standard of pitching development.

Lalane (pictured above) didn’t just turn in a quality start this past week; he manufactured pure art on the mound. The 22-year-old southpaw dismantled Single-A bats over 7 flawless innings, allowing exactly one lone hit while registering a 12-to-0 K-BB ratio. Lalane’s massive frame and effortless velocity extension make this look way too easy, confirming that his 2028 ETA is a very safe floor.

2. Ryan Weingartner (SS, St. Louis Cardinals)

The Verdict: A middle-infield power explosion.

Weingartner set the entire Florida State League on fire over the last seven days. The 21-year-old shortstop put on an absolute clinic in run production, blasting a minor-league-high 5 home runs and adding 14 RBIs. Finishing the frame with a stellar 1.504 OPS, Weingartner is aggressively proving that his raw pop can carry a dynasty profile from the shortstop position.

3. Charlie Condon (1B, Colorado Rockies)

The Verdict: The mid-2026 arrival is officially imminent.

If you were waiting for the confirmation that Condon is ready for Coors Field, here it is. The 23-year-old slugger absolutely torched Pacific Coast League pitching last week, hitting .500 (10-for-20) with 3 home runs and 9 RBIs. Condon posted an elite 1.783 OPS while showing advanced approach metrics with 3 walks against just 6 strikeouts. Stash him immediately in all standard and dynasty redraft formats before the Rockies make the call.

The “Zero-ER” Club: Total Mound Dominance

While Lalane stole the show, a wave of elite pitching prospects refused to let a single earned run cross the plate this week:

  • Dylan Brown (BOS) & Brady Smith (LAD): Both arms were utterly exceptional over long outings. Brown fired 7 scoreless frames at High-A with an 11-to-0 K-BB ratio (0.29 WHIP), while Smith matched him with 6 clean innings and an 11-to-0 K-BB ratio (0.17 WHIP) in Single-A.
  • Carson Laws (MIA): Laws was completely unhittable over 6 hitless frames at High-A, logging 9 strikeouts with a tiny 0.17 WHIP.
  • Devin Futrell (BOS): Delivering a masterpiece of his own at High-A, Futrell spun 6 shutout frames with a 12-to-1 K-BB ratio and a 0.50 WHIP.

Notable Risers & “Others” to Watch

  • The Double-A power-speed surge: Bo Davidson (SF) put together an incredibly loud fantasy week at Double-A, launching 3 home runs while weaponizing his elite wheels to swipe 4 stolen bases and drawing 8 walks (1.317 OPS).
  • The High-A RBI machine: Second baseman Jay Harry (TOR) was a literal one-man wrecking crew, going 13-for-28 (.464) while racking up 14 RBIs and 3 long balls.
  • The teen phenoms: 17-year-old Manny Almonte (ARI) mashed 4 home runs and swiped 3 bags in the Dominican Summer League, while 19-year-old Xavier Neyens (HOU) showed an elite eye in Single-A, mashing 3 homers and drawing an incredible 9 walks to fuel a 1.400 OPS.
  • Power from the corners: Ruben Ibarra (CIN) matched the weekly lead with 5 home runs at Double-A, while Miguel Bleis (BOS) showed high-end impact at Double-A by clubbing 4 home runs of his own.
