Welcome to the #24 installment of our Weekly Hot Prospects Report ranking the top minor-league performances from the week ending September 6. We’re back with this week’s top performers making waves across the minors—and this week’s trio at the top is stacked with rising stars who are soaring up the fantasy baseball rankings.

This edition has a little bit of everything — a hitless, walk-free complex-caliber start, back-to-back Triple-A shutouts, and a High-A outfielder who slugged 1.417 in a single game’s worth of at-bats.
The Top Five
1. Axiel Plaz (C, High-A South Atlantic League) — Plaz’s week is the best on the entire board: a 1.917 OPS with 3 homers and 8 RBIs, going 9-for-16 with more walks (5) than strikeouts (3). Power production like this from a catcher jumps rankings fast.
2. Andrew Fischer (AA Southern League) — Fischer (pictured above) has some counting stats are just absurd: 4 homers, 11 RBIs, and 10 walks in just 16 at-bats, good for a 1.718 OPS. A double-digit walk week paired with that kind of power is about as complete a profile as you’ll find.
3. Sammy Siani (AA Texas League) — Siani hit .667 on the week, going 12-for-18 with 3 homers, 6 RBIs, and 2 steals for a 1.889 OPS — the second-best mark on the board.
4. Braedon Karpathios (AA Texas League) — Karpathios drove in a week-leading 13 runs, going 14-for-22 (.636) with 2 homers for a 1.712 OPS. Elite volume production from one of the deepest leagues on this list.
5. Grayson Fitzwater (Single-A Carolina League) — Fitzwater’s 1.792 OPS week featured 10 RBIs and a strong 6-to-1 walk-to-strikeout ratio, going 9-for-16. A patient, run-producing week from a lower-level bat.
Other Pitchers Who Were Lights-Out
The zeroes piled up everywhere this week. Mason Molina (AAA International League) was the standout, tossing 10 shutout innings across two starts with 14 strikeouts. Jackson Wolf and Hayden Mullins, both AA Eastern League arms, combined to allow just 1 hit across 12 shutout innings. Juan Reynoso (AA Southern League) struck out 10 without a hit allowed over 5 innings, and Julio Mendez (High-A Midwest League) matched him with an 11-strikeout, 2-hit shutout outing of his own.
Also dealing: Yoel Tejeda, Nolan Perry, Kelvis Salcedo, Cole Miller, and Jack Bowery all posted 0.00 ERAs with WHIPs under 0.80. Rounding out a very deep week for pitching: Johnny King, Sterling Patick, J.T. Etheridge, Erigaldi Perez, Daniel Brooks, Mason Peters, Denis Samudio, Jackson Holmes, Sadbiel Delzine, and Nate Payne — all zero-run outings across every level of the minors.
Other Hitters Who Dominated
Beyond the top five, the bats never slowed down. Owen Henne (Single-A Florida State League) and Henry Godbout (AA Eastern League) each posted a 1.500 OPS, with Henne driving in 11 runs. Avery Ortiz (Single-A Carolina League) hit .500 on the week, and Jorge Quintana and Oswaldo Osorio, both Single-A California League bats, each cleared a 1.560 OPS.
Further down the list but no less impressive: Wyatt Sanford and Jake Gelof both drove in at least 5 runs with multiple homers; Jackson Strong walked 9 times in a single week; and a deep group — Alexander Albertus, Zach Levenson, Charlie Condon, Anthony Potestio, Chase Jaworsky, David Calabrese, and Sebastian Dos Santos — all posted OPS marks north of 1.300. It was, across the board, one of the deepest offensive weeks we’ve tracked this season.
