A quick look at the Top Three
1. Austin Overn | OF | Tampa Bay Rays (Double-A)
Overn put together a complete tool display in Double-A this past week. Pairing elite speed on the basepaths (3 SB) with nuclear raw power (4 HR, 10 RBI in just 20 at-bats), Overn posted an impressive 1.578 OPS. His combination of speed, power, and plate discipline (3 BB) makes him the clear headliner for this week’s report.
2. Kade Snell | OF/C | Chicago Cubs (High-A)
Snell continues to prove his hit tool translates into dynamic fantasy production. The left-handed swinging Cubs prospect swatted 4 home runs and stole 3 bases while striking out just 3 times in 23 at-bats. Showing minimal swing-and-miss alongside high-impact power makes Snell one of the most intriguing movers in High-A.
3. Josiah Ragsdale | OF | St. Louis Cardinals (Double-A)
Nobody hit the ball out of the park more than Ragsdale this past week. He erupted for 5 home runs in Double-A before bring traded by the Brewers at the deadline. While he ran a higher strikeout total (10 SO), his 4 walks and pure light-tower power pushed his OPS to 1.259 for the period.
Pitching Dominance: On the Bump Standouts
- Cam Caminiti (SP, ATL, High-A) — #4: The 19-year-old lefty was absolute poison to opposing hitters, striking out 14 while walking just 1 across 6.0 IP (1.35 ERA, 0.60 WHIP).
- Caden Hunter (SP, BAL, High-A) — #8: Hunter carried a no-hitter deep into his outing, giving up just 1 hit over 7.0 scoreless innings with 10 Ks and 2 BB (0.00 ERA, 0.43 WHIP).
- Bryce Mayer (SP, PHI, Double-A) — #19: Mayer was flawless in Double-A, pitching 6.0 scoreless innings with 9 strikeouts and zero walks (0.50 WHIP).
- Brett Sears (SP, ATL, Double-A) — #32: Sears carved through Double-A lineups, racking up 12 strikeouts and only 1 walk in 7.0 scoreless frames.
- Jesus A. Castro (SP, SD, Single-A) — #42: Castro delivered 7 shut-out innings allowing only 1 hit and 0 walks with 7 Ks (0.14 WHIP).
Power Outbursts & Notable Performances
- Xavier Isaac (1B, TB, Double-A) — #6: Isaac put on a clinic in plate discipline and power, drawing 8 walks alongside 4 HR and 11 RBIs to post a staggering 1.948 OPS.
- Josue De Paula (OF, LAD, Double-A) — #7: Dodgers gem launched 4 HR with 9 RBIs and a 1.474 OPS in Double-A.
- Conor Essenburg (OF, ATL, Single-A) — #14: Essenburg led the entire report in OPS (2.167), going 8-for-14 with 3 HR, 11 RBIs, and 6 walks.
- Jesus Made (SS, MIL, Double-A) — #10: The 19-year-old infielder stayed scorching hot in Double-A, hitting .429 (12-for-28) with 3 HR and 10 RBIs while striking out only once.
- Cooper Ingle (C, CLE, Triple-A) — #13: The Triple-A backstop went 13-for-25 (.520 AVG) with 3 HR, 10 RBIs, and a 1.512 OPS.
