Jose Miranda vaults into the RotoProspects Top 300 at #264 on the heels of a 23-for-46 stretch with 5 homers for Double-A Wichita. The Twins’ third-base prospect now has a triple-slash of .348/.415/.591 with 12 homers and 4 steals on the season. Miranda is known as a free-swinger with an excellent feel for contact but not much raw power, but he’s obviously making big strides there. He was the 73rd pick in the 2016 draft out of Puerto Rico who had put up decent numbers before this year’s explosion. The 22-year-old could make his way to Minnesota by the end of this season and as a bat-first prospect is worth keeping an eye on for fantasy owners.
About Us
RotoProspects decided that the one thing missing from the fantasy baseball world is a real-time look at MLB prospects and an ever-evolving ranking of prospects based on current performance and how they can help you now and in the future. We will be tracking the minor leagues, paying close attention to rising stars, slumping performers and, most of all, players who will be up soon to help you dominate your fantasy baseball redraft or dynasty league.
