Here’s a quick look at the first tier.

Tier 1: The superstars that anchor your team

1. Aaron Judge (NYY): Judge (pictured above) remains the premier power anchor in baseball, coming off a 53-homer campaign that cemented his status as a Round 1 staple. While he’s enters his mid-30s, his elite .423 OBP and 50-homer ceiling provide a production floor that no other player can match.

2. Juan Soto (NYM): Now a leader for the Mets, Soto has reached a new level of fantasy value with a projected 40-steal upside to go along with his 39 home runs. His elite plate discipline and the protection of a stacked lineup make him a consensus top-two pick in almost every format.

3. Ronald Acuna Jr. (ATL): Acuna remains a 40/40 threat who can also hit .300 every time he steps onto the field, provided he maintains his health. His ability to lead the league in runs while chipping in 31 homers and 25 steals makes him one of the most dynamic five-category pillars in the game.

4. Julio Rodriguez (SEA): Entering his age-25 season, Rodriguez is one of the safest bets for 30/30 production and triple-digit runs. His second-half surges are legendary, and he remains an elite foundation player for those looking to build a balanced, high-volume roster.

5. Fernando Tatis Jr. (SD): Tatis has re-established himself as a top-five upside play, pairing 30-homer power with 26 projected steals. With his plate discipline improving and his health stabilized, he is poised for a massive season at the top of the Padres’ order.

6. Kyle Tucker (LAD): Now in Los Angeles, Tucker is the ultimate “set it and forget it” asset, projected for a balanced 31/23 season with nearly 100 RBIs. His high-contact floor and elite lineup support make him one of the highest-floor players in the first round.

7. Corbin Carroll (ARI): Carroll bounced back in 2025 with a 31/32 season, proving that his power-speed combination is here to stay. Despite some early-season health concerns, his ability to drive in 80+ runs from the leadoff spot keeps him in the elite conversation.

8. Jackson Chourio (MIL): The 22-year-old prodigy has officially arrived in Tier 1, projected for 24 homers and 25 steals as he continues to refine his approach. His elite average hit rate and rising counting stats suggest he is just beginning to scratch the surface of his superstar potential.

9. Brent Rooker (ATH): Rooker has become a model of power consistency, providing a stable 34-homer floor that anchors any mid-to-early round build. His durability—playing 162 games in 2025—and elite SLG metrics make him a premier source of home runs and RBIs.

10. Pete Crow-Armstrong (CHC): PCA rounds out the top tier as a premier speed specialist who has found his power stroke, projected for 25 homers and 35 steals. While his OBP can be volatile, his elite defense and game-breaking speed make him a unique and highly valuable fantasy asset.
