This week’s Hot Prospects Report highlights ten players who are dominating at AAA and making a strong case for a big-league call-up in the near future.

Top Performers of the Week

1. Kyle Teel (C, CHW)

Stats: 1.654 OPS, 2 HR, 9 RBIs, 6-for-12, 2 BB, 2 SO
The White Sox’s top catching prospect had an explosive week, slashing his way to a 1.654 OPS while driving in nine runs. With his elite bat-to-ball skills and defensive growth, Teel is knocking on the door for a midseason call-up.

2. Rece Hinds (OF, CIN)

Stats: 1.750 OPS, 2 HR, 6 RBIs, 4-for-8, 2 BB, 2 SO
Hinds has been tearing up AAA pitching, flashing both power and plate discipline. If he keeps this up, the Reds will have to find a spot for him in their outfield mix.

3. J.T. Ginn (SP, ATH)

Stats: 0.00 ERA, 0.40 WHIP, 8-1 K-BB, 5 IP, 1 H
Ginn put together a dominant start, allowing just one hit over five innings while striking out eight. The Athletics’ pitching depth is thin, making him a prime candidate for an early-season promotion.

4. Jacob Misiorowski (SP/RP, MIL)

Stats: 0.00 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, 7-3 K-BB, 5 IP, 1 H
With a blazing fastball and wipeout slider, Misiorowski continues to impress. His ability to work as both a starter and reliever makes him an intriguing MLB option soon.

5. Tim Tawa (2B/OF, ARI)

Stats: 1.371 OPS, 2 HR, 5 RBIs, 4-for-11, 2 BB, 0 SO
Tawa’s versatility and bat have been on full display, showcasing power and contact skills while avoiding strikeouts. The Diamondbacks could use his utility sooner rather than later.

6. Nick Kurtz (1B, ATH)

Stats: 1.447 OPS, 1 HR, 3 RBIs, 5-for-11, 2 BB, 2 SO
Kurtz continues to prove he’s one of the best pure hitters in the Oakland system, posting a monster OPS while showing advanced approach at the plate.

7. Roman Anthony (OF, BOS)

Stats: 1.933 OPS, 2 HR, 4 RBIs, 2-for-6, 4 BB, 1 SO
The top-ranked prospect in the minors lived up to his billing with an eye-popping 1.933 OPS. His power and elite plate discipline make him an exciting player to watch.

8. Carson Seymour (SP/RP, SF)

Stats: 0.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 8-1 K-BB, 4 IP, 3 H
Seymour was filthy, striking out eight in just four innings. The Giants may soon look to him for bullpen depth.

9. Blade Tidwell (SP, NYM)

Stats: 1.80 ERA, 0.40 WHIP, 5-1 K-BB, 5 IP, 1 H
Tidwell’s dominance on the mound continues as he posted a near-flawless start for the Mets’ AAA affiliate.

10. Darell Hernaiz (SS/3B, ATH)

Stats: 1.179 OPS, 1 HR, 4 RBIs, 4-for-12, 2 BB, 0 SO
The Athletics’ infield prospect showed off his bat-to-ball skills, hitting .333 with solid power and zero strikeouts.
