The latest RotoProspects Top 700 fantasy baseball rankings are here, and this week’s update features some exciting movement among baseball’s brightest young stars. With several elite prospects nearing their MLB debuts and others making waves in the minors, our rankings reflect the most up-to-date insights on player development and performance.

Who’s at the Top?

Roman Anthony (#1, BOS, OF) retains his spot as the top prospect, with his advanced approach, power potential, and defensive versatility making him a future MLB star. The 21-year-old is knocking on the big-league door and could see Fenway Park as early as 2025.

Sebastian Walcott (#2, TEX, SS) and Jasson Dominguez (#3, NYY, OF) round out the top three. Dominguez, already tasting big-league action, has proven he belongs, while Walcott’s high-ceiling bat and elite power keep him among the game’s best young shortstops.

Walker Jenkins (#4, MIN, OF) and Kristian Campbell (#5, BOS, 2B) continue their climb, with Jenkins’ 70-grade hit tool and Campbell’s balanced skill set making them must-watch players in 2025 and beyond.

Samuel Basallo (#14, BAL, C/1B) has officially cracked the Top 15 thanks to his impressive bat speed and 70-grade power. The 20-year-old catcher/first baseman (pictured above) could make an impact in Baltimore sooner than expected. His offensive upside makes him one of the most exciting young hitters in the minors.

New Faces, Rising Stars

Roki Sasaki (#9, LAD, SP) immediately cracked the Top 10. The Japanese phenom has a 70-grade fastball and elite secondary pitches, making him a potential ace for the Dodgers.

Leo De Vries (#10, SD, SS) is another exciting riser. At just 18 years old, his switch-hitting ability and smooth defense make him one of the most promising young shortstops in baseball.

Jesus Made (#13, MIL, SS) also makes a leap, showcasing elite bat-to-ball skills and power potential in the Dominican Summer League.

MLB-Ready Names to Watch

Dylan Crews (#6, WAS, OF), Matt Shaw (#7, CHC, 2B/3B), Jackson Jobe (#8, DET, SP), and Kumar Rocker (#18, TEX, SP) are already knocking on the big-league door or making their mark in the majors.
